Your identity is issued by the organization, not claimed by you: the name on your messages and calls is the one your account is certified under.

Encrypted on this device (D-4/S-16): the server only ever stores ciphertext at an address derived from your recovery code. Losing the code loses the backup — nobody can recover it for you, by design.
